From Maarssen we pedaled down to Utretch, where we spent the night in an interesting tiny apartment carved out of an ancient school building right at the tip of the old section of town. It was really interesting – although the apartment was tiny, we had a private “living room” in the hallway where we could store our bikes and enjoy meals.

From there we rode across town to Lage Weide to pick up our van for the longer hauls.
