Our 2019 trip packed 3 separate adventures into one year. It starts with a bike trip from Haarlem down to the Vecht with Frank and Michael and then on to Kieve in Germany. Here we picked up a van, loaded the bikes and drove to the Bourgogne region of France, and area we visited once before in 2015. After a week or so there we packed the bikes back into the van and drove down to Provence to bike some of the special areas and to visit Willy and Gert. For final part of our trip we loaded up the bikes and drove back toward Germany. We had planned to return to explore more of the headwaters of the Rhone and Loire but it turned out the tour de France was being held. To avoid the crowds we headed up into the Alps to the town of Annecy, and the to Eguiheim near Colmar. From there on to Offenberg where we got a great airbnb and turned the van back in. Then cycled across the Rhine to Strasbourg to pick up the riverboat for our bike and boat voyage up the Rhine and Mosel and finally back to Amsterdam. It was one jam-packed summer!
